Anne Curtis made history being The First Filipino to reach 1 million followers in Twitter!

It's good to know that one of my purposes of creating this blog has finally come true. Our idol became the very first Filipino to reach 1 million followers (1,015,725 to be exact).Twitter is the second biggest social networking next to Facebook and Anne Curtis dominated it. She even surpasses Angel Locsin and Kris Aquino whose followers are 620,323 and 614,564 respectively.

MANILA, Philippines – Television host and actress Anne Curtis is the first Filipino celebrity who has garnered 1 million followers on Twitter.

In her official Twitter account, Curtis thanked everyone who has been following her in the social networking site.

“1 million followers! Wooooow! Thank you to everyone for the follow here on Twitter! Thanks for wanting to follow and read all the nonsense, craziness and random thoughts I like to share,” she posted. 

Curtis said she is grateful that Twitter has become a way to bridge the gap between her and her supporters. She noted that it has also become a way for her to reach the people she looks up to.

“I love Twitter for making it possible for me to have instant communication and feedback from you guys and also a way for me to follow the people I admire,” she said.

Being the first celebrity to reach this huge number of followers, Curtis said: “Cheers guys and thank you again for the love and support! Waaaaaah. You all made my day! Love you all!!!”

“I wish I could thank everyone that congratulated me kaya lang baka next month na ako matapos! Hahaha,” she added.

Where did Anne Curtis spent her 2011 holy week.

Anne spent her holy week with friends love ones (Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Erwan Heusaff, Belle Daza, Franco Daza and Luis Manzano) at Punta Fuego / Tali Batangas.

Just finished my quiet time it's heartbreaking remembering how much Jesus suffered & yet he still said "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" also knowing that when he was crucified his mother Mary was there watching all of this  It reminds us of how much God loves us by giving up his son... As a fan, we support actors/actresses who like our idol the way we do. It gives as the impression that we have chosen the correct person to idolize when they say good things about them since they are the one who really have a chance to mingle with each other off cam. Just like the late AJ Perez, I noticed him when he tweeted Anne.

 ABS-CBN and Viva Management may not have decided yet for a project that will top-bill Anne and John Lloyd but Greenwhich already made the first move to have these two popular actors to be seen in tv together with their newest commercial for Extreme Cheese Pizzas. Greenwhich tv ads is known to its barkada theme commercial.  They have been part of Greenwhich famiy for quite sometime now but it is the first time for them to be in one commercial. The chemistry is undeniable and a lot of fans hope that  ABS-CBN and Viva Management will finally consider for them to be team up in a movie or teleserye.
